After using the socket for a period of time, some tin slag or dust will remain on the tip of the pogo pin, which will cause unstable test. You can use an anti-static brush, with dipping the anhydrous alcohol, and gently brush the probe pin to remove the residue. If necessary, you can use an air gun to puff the Socket probe pin area, it is better;

(Note: Do not use PCB wash water, because the wash water will react with the gold plating on the probe pin/pogo pin surface, affecting the test stability)

  

Way 1.Slowly rotate with an anti-static brush to remove the internal residue of the socket

(Do not brush back and forth to avoid damage to the probe)

Way 2.Clean the Socket into the ultrasonic wave with a special cleaning fluid to make the tiny residue inside the socket clear.

After cleaning, use the air gun to align with the socket and remove the alcohol and residue. After the alcohol is completely evaporated, install the socket back.

If the socket is not used for a long time, please take out the test IC, close the socket tightly, package it in an anti-static bag, and store it in a dry and cool place to avoid probe pin oxidation and PCBA plate damp;
